today i want to continue about my assigment 2 for the task 2
.For the first time i listen what they are talking i can't hear clearly the pronouncation..for the second time i can 'catch the words.
..For the task 2,i choose a topic about the entertaiment. it's about "My Best Friend",Franch film.
..in my opinion. this task is good for me because i can learn something to improve my vocabulary.

I found a few words in this task..It is;

....a profound obsence=a great want
....snobbery=looking down on the other people.

Here i want to share with you about assignment 2

For the task 1,i choose about "get a life"..for the first i listening about the task i can understand the pronouncation and all of the story, "get a life" is about something in life and how you can go on a life.."Get a Life" can be serious but its usually jocular.

The new words is

Derogatory : if you made a derogatory remark or commen about someone or something you express your low apinion of them
Workaholic : is a person who works most of the time and finds it difficult to stop working in or the to do other things
Chill out : to relax after you have dome something tining or stressful.

Hi, I'm Azlina bt Saabon Alban...firstly I want to wish thank you to Madam Siti Salmiah, I'm so glad and enjoy study in your class. However, I don't clever in English, but I try to improve my achievement in English. In class, so many activities thant available with my friends. For instance, discussion in our group, quizzes, and homework. All activity is very good for me and other friends. I know English is very important now and without English we're very difficult to get a job when I exit from university. So, I must to progress my attainment in English. I hope I can successful in my life and can be intelligent person in English. That's all for me...I will always miss you (madam Siti Salmiah) and all my friends. ..in task 1, i enjoy to log on the UP to Date (Prof. David Crystal's website)..i choose the title 'In Your Dreams'..
..At the first time listen for this video, i can't understand..However, i repeat this video and listen it again and again..but..i'm still not understanding what he talking about..hik hik.. After that, i read the tapescript and listen the recording agains..lastly, i can understood overall about this topic..and i learn many new word and the meaning.. i've a new vocabulary to share to all of you..

expectations : strong hopes or beliefs that somethig will happen
muttering : speak or after in a low unclear tone

David Crystal

Assalamualaikum,today i listen to Prof David Crystal recording.At first time i heard that im not really understand what he talked about.But i listen it again and again....Then, i read the transcript.I choose the word in my daily life i had learn that is unusual to put the word 'not' at the end, instead of in the middle word 'not' actually emphassing or refer to the negative opinion.It usually used after an opposite point of view.
That....the diffrent topic,I think he speak in American English and it not easy for me understood because he speak so fast and he voice is slowly...
What i understood about 'dream' is dream can be mean about pictures that pass through your mind while u are asleep.
For one meaning is happening u imagine while awake.
-I also had learn new word such as abbreviation emphasising and negate.
-So i will learn more English language from David Crystal Learning English.Thats all what i understood in English learning today.Wslm:)
